Website or web application?
A website mostly presents information. A web application lets users do things: sign in, book, pay, upload, collaborate or manage data. Many businesses need both, with a marketing site to be found and an application to serve customers once they arrive.
The distinction matters because applications need stronger architecture, security and testing than a brochure site.
Architecture that stays fast as usage grows
Good web applications separate concerns: a clear front end, a well-defined API, a properly designed database and background jobs for slow work. That separation makes it possible to improve one part without destabilising the rest.
We design for the load you expect in the next year or two, with clear paths to scale beyond it, rather than over-engineering for traffic you may never see.
Security that isn't an afterthought
Authentication, authorisation, input validation, encryption in transit and at rest, secure secret handling and dependency updates are baseline requirements, not extras. We build them in and test for common vulnerabilities such as those in the OWASP Top 10.
If your application handles sensitive or regulated data, tell us early so we can plan the right controls.
Performance and long-term maintenance
A fast application keeps users and helps search visibility for public pages. We measure performance during development, not after complaints.
Software also needs care after launch: updates, monitoring and fixes. We offer maintenance plans so the application stays secure and doesn't quietly decay.
